Sheri 2.0: fashion designer

A job in Boston brought Sheri from Canada, where she was a graphic designer by day and sewing creative by night. Bringing her trusted Bernina meant continued sewing in her home studio, until realizing the time to chase the dream is now, and she enrolled in MassArt’s Fashion Design program.

Currently working on her thesis collection, Rue Sauvage, and exploring the connection between nature and the street. Sheri’s work features simple lines that incorporate new forms of functionality. Her interest in sustainability focuses on consumerism, identity, and exploring ways fashion can help us connect to the planet and to each other.
